Always remember to stay by the side
of your loved ones
and never drift away
Being near them
will help you
to share your courage
with those who need it
It will give those you help
the strength, confidence, and perseverance
to endure
all the pain and mistakes
they’ll encounter
on their way
towards achieving their goals
This is another great post Mark! The support of our loved ones and those we choose to include in our circle is so important!

Thank you Terri, it is so true that it’s important to be there in the lives of our loved ones and help in anyway possible.

A timely reminder as I pop by to visit my 90 year old Mom today (she was recently discharged from hospital back to her independent suite in a local care home!) – thank you, Mark!

I’m glad your mom is feeling better Kimberlee and wishing her continued good health. Wow…90 years old, that’s awesome; hope she lives 90 more. When I was younger, I used to aspire to being a lawyer, then a politician and then an established writer; also being super ripped and muscular. But as I grew with age, I’ve learned to aspire to be like my grandparents and parents and all the elder people that I see. They lived a long life, granted not all sunshine and roses, but a life filled with tons of experience and grandiose memories.

As we move through life, I find the smaller moments become much richer and other aspirations just fall away – right now we’re loving the lush spring blossoms and foliage in our part of the world!
