If there’s an obstacle
or a problem in your life
never go around it
always forge ahead
and go through it
If you try to take the path

then you’re cheating yourself
Going through
that tunnel of darkness
and somehow reaching
the light at the end of it
will bring you all the rewards and richness
you could never get
if you went around
Going through
will give you
the will, the strength, the knowledge and the confidence
to tackle and endure
anything and everything
that is thrown our way

I love this Mark – it’s so true! We grow so much more when we have to work through issues than when we avoid them. Of course, it’s never fun when we’re facing obstacles or working through problems, but as we overcome them, we realize how much we’ve learned in the process.
