There are people that want to be writers but few are willing to do what it takes to master the craft If you’re willing, what’s the blueprint? You must be willing to make an attempt, to fail, to learn You’ll fall at some point, pause to take on other priorities or get distracted If that happens, just get back on track and try again Continue with your attempts until you get it Continue until you do not possess self-doubt Keep getting back up and strive to try again
When you are faced with unforeseen problems, just keep it moving When you are tasked with a ton of things, just keep it moving When insurmountable obstacles appear before you, just keep it moving When there is darkness and gloom surrounding you, just keep it moving The only way is through Going forward will keep you focused, your resilience will strengthen, positivity will flow everlasting and the light will eventually appear if you, just keep it moving
When faced with the unknown, fear will occur It will make you irrational It will make you doubt yourself It will paralyze you from taking action and it will justify excuses Ultimately though, fear is a choice It’s not something we’re born with but rather something learned through experience To overcome it we need to acknowledge it by accepting the failures, accepting the hardships, accepting the challenges and be willing to overcome it by being steadfast and courageous and facing everything knowing that if we give our utmost, our very heart and soul we’ll eventually rise
As 2020 winds down, my resolution for the new year is to continue to have “HOPE” despite everything that life throws at me. Hope is a powerful motivator, a life-affirming feeling and a force to be reckon with if properly sent out into the world. Darkness cannot exist without light, so keep that spark of hope alive…have faith that everything will turn out all right. Ignite the eternal optimist within you!
It’s that time of year where we tend to spread good cheer and give of ourselves to others. Everyone is usually all smiles and in good spirits but 2020 threw a wrench in all our plans. But despite all the chaos that happened, we just need to pause and remember that no matter how bad things get there is light at the end of the tunnel. We just need to have faith and keep hope alive. Hope changes everything! That positive vibe that has a tendency to be prevalent during the holiday season is something we need to carry with us into 2021. The more positivity we can spread, the more hope we can spark in others, the more faith we can sustain will make the rough times bearable. So spread cheer, spread joy this holiday season and keep it going until we can get back to normal.
When life’s obstacles put my back against the wall, what keeps me going… my family When challenges arise and I have nowhere to turn, what keeps me going… my friends, When darkness overcomes me and there’s no hope in sight, what keeps me going… my faith When the road is long and hard and I feel like quitting, what keeps me going… my confidence Living every day is another opportunity for me to go for everything I want and dream of So never give up When life brings you down ask yourself, “What keeps you going?”
It’s been awhile since I stopped and took time to reflect on the things happening in my life. Since this COVID-19 chaos, everything has been up in the air and all my daily routines have been thrown out of whack. But my optimistic trait has me seeing a positive side to all of this. Having this pandemic happen has given me the opportunity to actually stop my life and take into account all the good things that are around me. I am fortunate to be a lot closer with my family, both in proximity and in relationships. I value life more, regardless of all the obstacles that are in my way. I’m appreciative of being able to stop and take notice of nature and how it continues to progress regardless of what goes on in my life. And most of all, I’m just happy to be here in this moment, knowing that I have had good memories despite all of the negative aspects associated with this virus. This will pass because there cannot be darkness without light. So I continue to have hope and treasure every breath I take.
