Amen Mark! I worked for a boss once who thought you needed to stay past your scheduled hours every day to show you were committed to the work. My counter to him was, if you were truly committed and good at your job, you should be able to get the work done within your allotted hours. Obviously, he didn’t appreciate my insight ha ha!

I completely know what you mean Terri. Sometimes you can be efficient at your job and do what needs to be done in the allotted time but in the eyes of others who aren’t like that can see that as being a rush job just to finish. I’m glad you spoke your mind…good for you.
