Learn to be open minded
and ask people for their opinions
Accept what they have to say
whether it be good or bad
and ask yourself
“Is this something that
helps to explain where I went wrong?”
or
“Is this something useful that
will make me the best at getting better?”
Remember who you were in order to figure out who you want to be.
As you go through the journey of life,
consider putting the “er” into it for some added quality
Become braver in making decisions you hesitate about
even if it means ultimate failure
Be smarter and learn from mistakes to experience success
Be stronger to forge ahead in whatever you do and
become a believer in who you are and what you will accomplish
Continue to be a supporter of your family and friends and
bring laughter into their lives to create precious memories
Continue to be kinder to your loved ones and to others as well
Become a lover of all aspects of goodwill so that
you can shine brighter and bring positivity into the world
If you are willing to apply some of these traits to yourself,
you can become a leader and inspire others to do the same
You’ll be a winner because of how these traits guide your actions,
you’ll be a better person for possessing these habits
and most importantly, improve your character
It separates you as someone of substance
which our world needs more of
Don’t work hard for the sake of working hard, work hard so that you can produce results.
In some way, shape or form
we all try to live up
to someone else’s expectations
By doing that,
it changes every aspect
of who we are
and hinders us in some fashion
Being faithful to yourself
and being comfortable
with your own standards
is the core of who you are
You are truly authentic
when you come to the realization
that you are enough
Once you decide on a course of action,
you should stick to it
regardless of who understands you or not
Since we all have
a unique way of thinking,
it doesn’t really matter
if we try to explain it
Our personal reasons
are meant for us alone,
not for others to make sense of it
The greatest decision
you will ever make in your life
is the path you choose
of your own volition
By doing so,
you will have no regrets
and won’t question
your every step
on your journey
to reach your goal
If someone is willing to give you feedback on your writing,
take their personal notes or comments as a gift
For someone to take the time to invest of themselves
into something you wrote,
speaks volumes of their support for you.
Curiosity of the unknown,
fascination of what could be,
eyes of wonderment,
imagination without constraints,
inspiration to share ideas, experiences and dreams
These are some of the traits

continue to create with their words
Stay committed to your work
Stay disciplined to your craft
Stay true to your inner voice
Stay the course to your choice of words
If you are able to stay on that path
and not waver
then the life of a writer
is what you’re best suited for
