As a writer,
your words can give hope
to those lost in this world
It can spark
a ray of light
in pitch darkness
and
lead them into
an enlightened life
of
endless inspiration

This is so true Mark! It’s a wonderful gift and a huge responsibility when we realize the power of the written word in people’s lives. Although I don’t really consider myself a *real* writer (more a sharer), I do always try to remember WHY I’m writing, which is to give people hope. I’m going to print this one out and hang it on my board over my desk as a reminder. Thank you!

Who’s really a ‘real’ writer. I think anyone who shares their inner voice to others in hopes of educating them, sharing their experiences or entertaining them with their own choice of words is a writer. And as a writer Terri, you are doing a “GREAT” job of informing and inspiring your readers. Don’t ever give that up!

Thank you so much for your kind words Mark! I love learning and sharing what I learn with others. It happens to take the form of the written word, but I think the reason I don’t feel that I’m a ‘real’ writer is because I don’t have that need to write that I hear so many writers talk about. Blessings to you dear friend – stay safe!

And really, what greater gift can one ask for than to bring hope and inspire others? 🙂
