When you listen to your inner voice

So let the artist inside you loose
and relish in your creative resourcefulness
If you can do that without fear,
you’re in your element
When you’re writing,
ask yourself
“Do you like doing this?”
or
“Do you love doing this?”
Your answer determines
how much you will grow
For a writer
to master their craft,
there are no shortcuts
It takes years and years
of endless writing
and countless trials and tribulations
If you start to feel disheartened
and think you are
not up to your standards,
set your heart ablaze
Dig down deep and plow forward
because the flow of time
waits for no one
So catch up to it
and continue to create
and build your distinct voice
for all to see
As a writer,
always live your lives
with great pride
Relish in what
you’ve written
and know that it is
truly a work of art
If you have a strong will
and an undying passion,
you can become the person
you always dreamt of being.
As a writer
your words can not only change a person
but it can also change the world
That passion that you have
comes from the demonstrated ability
of years and years of putting
pen to paper
You are capable of evoking
thoughts and emotions
from your readers
So be grateful for all the writing
that you’ve done
but be more appreciative of all the writing
that you are going to do
in the future
So let your inner voice
bring forth your words

To be a true writer
you must give of yourself,
put everything aside
take your emotions off the shelf
With your inner voice as your guide
make the words reflect you,
create something special
that’s magical, elegant and true
Your words invoke feelings
from the reader at the start
love, joy, sorrow and humor
are the things that inspire your art
When you share your prose to the world
for all who want to see,
take delight in knowing
that they’ll get an understanding of “me”
So never question your worth
or the passion that you feel,
Writing is your outlet
that enables you to be real
Writing is a journey
that’s not instant or passive

it is not completely result oriented
It’s a process of
delayed gratification

that takes consistent training
over months and even years
Though the result is creating

because that’s your nature

Don’t try to rush or force things
