that doesn’t mean
the path to your goals
are closed
You just went off course

look ahead with optimistic eyes
and go beyond your limits,
as many times as it takes
to find your way back
to your intended path
Writing is a craft
that takes time to learn
and
time to find your inner voice
It takes patience
to grow
You might get weary at times
but stay the course
and
you’ll become strong enough
to stay on path
and
move forward to
reach your dream
Writing
is an evolving art form,
so never stop learning
The moment you stop
and
think you know all there is to know,
then you should quit
Writing is a craft
that requires constant learning
You learn about yourself,
you learn from other writers
and you learn from life
So stay motivated
and
continue your education
If you fail,
don’t be afraid to start again
If you never do what you love
because it’s scary
or you’re too afraid to even try,
then your life is unfulfilled
Can you ever be truly happy?
Won’t you have regrets?
So what if you fail,
just get back on your feet
and start again
and maybe, just maybe
you’ll be lucky
the next time around
In the journey of life,
it’s okay
to take the wrong route
every now and then
You might find
some hidden treasure
that can be added
to your memory bank
There are people
that want to be writers
but few are willing to do what it takes
to master the craft
If you’re willing,
what’s the blueprint?
You must be willing
to make an attempt,
to fail,
to learn
You’ll fall at some point,
pause to take on other priorities
or get distracted
If that happens,
just get back on track and try again
Continue with your attempts
until you get it
Continue until you do not
possess self-doubt
Keep getting back up
and
strive to try again
As a writer,
we channel our emotions
through our words
that come from our inner voice
and when
we share them with others
it conveys
what our heart is trying to express…
which is our true feelings
Words
can
instill knowledge,
promote creativity,
allay anxieties,
comfort sadness,
inspire greatness,
evoke love,
and
heal a lost soul
The power it wields
has no bounds
So show integrity
when using your words
Envisioning your dream,
your masterpiece,
your novel, your poem,
your script or your story
is the first step
in achieving it
All good writers
can see things
as they could be,
as they should be
That is the
art of writing
It’s such a cliché when we say,
“Life’s too short”
but it’s so, so true
Take the time to stop
and enjoy what life has to offer
Play till your muscles ache,
laugh till you cry,
smile till it hurts
Just do everything and anything
while you can
because
you’ll find yourself being too old
when you’re ready to have fun
