As 2020 winds down, my resolution for the new year is to continue to have “HOPE” despite everything that life throws at me. Hope is a powerful motivator, a life-affirming feeling and a force to be reckon with if properly sent out into the world. Darkness cannot exist without light, so keep that spark of hope alive…have faith that everything will turn out all right. Ignite the eternal optimist within you!

What I’m Thankful For

Despite what a terrible year 2020 has been, I’m thankful that I got a chance to strengthen my relationships with my family and friends…even connect with long lost ones. It helped me to lean on them for support and I learned that regardless of what life throws at you or what obstacles arise, if we face it together…together we will persevere.

my family
When challenges arise
and I have nowhere to turn,
what keeps me going…
my friends,
When darkness overcomes me
and there’s no hope in sight,
what keeps me going…
my faith
When the road is long and hard
and I feel like quitting,
what keeps me going…
my confidence
Living every day
is another opportunity
for me
to go for everything
I want and dream of
So never give up
When life brings you down
ask yourself,
“What keeps you going?”
