Even if you are experiencing these feelings,
you are definitely one of a kind
and your family and friends
are there for you
and will never give up on you
because of who you truly are
For that in their eyes…

We write to…
share love
We write to…
inspire hope
We write to…
educate minds
We write to…
spread laughter
We write to…
expand imagination
We write to live
so that we can see how
our words
can change the light
in our reader’s eyes
The color of a writer’s soul
should be one
that is burning bright red
It symbolizes
your intense passion
You swear loyalty to that,
you cherish it
and gain strength from it
and then live
without betraying that
That’s the writer’s codex
Writing will challenge you
physically, mentally, socially and emotionally,
but that’s a good thing
because without it
you won’t discover what you can truly do
You don’t have to come up with
eloquent words or grandiose sentences
Choose the words that are direct
There’s beauty in simplicity
Simplification helps the reader
to enjoy the words
without any confusion
Don’t be too preoccupied
chasing your dreams
to stop and cherish
those around you
that allow you to do so.
In life,
you’re going to have
ups and downs
and things aren’t
always going to go your way
But it doesn’t matter,
you just need to fight through,
make the best of it
and make it
a good memory
Writing occurs spontaneously without instruction
Your mind has no idea
that your heart
is helping you put
the words to paper
Whether it comes out in the form of
a lengthy story,
an eloquent poem,
a single sentence
or a simple word
The heart pushes our choice of words
to the forefront
to help us create
the act of writing prose
a natural phenomenon
Just because you come from nothing, doesn’t mean you can’t do anything.
Even if you encounter endless dark days of misfortune and sorrow, there will eventually come a time when that light appears. So hold out for hope.
