Don’t try to imitate or follow
another person’s journey
just because they found success
It’s easy to be swayed
into thinking
you can do it too
but
your path is your own
follow it
and trust that
you’ll end up
where you’re supposed to be
Creative people
aren’t creative all of the time
They’re creative
when they need to be
When you write
always chase perfection
Finding the right words
to convey
your thoughts, your emotions,
your dreams, your voice
is everything
It might not be
the most eloquent or the most intellectual
but as long as
your choice of words
are guided by your heart
then in your eyes
it is simply…perfect
Embrace the good times when you can,
because anything and everything
can change all of that in an instant
Have faith in yourself
The moment you believe in that,
the more courage you’ll have
to overcome all odds
and
accomplish
all that your heart desires
Sometimes,
a day comes that changes everything
It could be an opportunity,
or it could be an obstacle
It could be for good
or it could be bad
Regardless of what it is,
the secret
to making it through is
you must embrace it
with eyes wide open
and accept it for what it is
No matter what the outcome,
as long as you have a positive attitude
while continuing to go forward
the end result will be beneficial to you
If you don’t take your chances,
your confidence will go
and
when you stop worrying about making mistakes,
you won’t make as many

as long as you use
all of your main attributes
and
have complete faith in yourself

and in time, results in creativity
Writing is focused on progression
rather than perfection
Writing is the practice of
finding joy in words and sharing them
Perfection is the end result
The result determines
if joy is achieved
Regardless of results,
there is no stopping point
There may be milestones to celebrate
but,
writing is a lifetime journey
Writing is ultimately a choice

honor the process
When life gets in the way,
a lot of the things we like to do,
the dreams we are striving for,
seem to move away from us
No matter what we do,
no matter how hard we try,
we can’t get back on course
The way to fix that
is to shift the focus
back onto ourselves
and concentrate
on taking care of ourselves
in mind, body and spirit
Once we’re centered
all that we dreamed possible
can now come to fruition
