Words infused with hope,
inspire the desolate
Words infused with serenity,
bring peace to the restless
Words infused with creativity,
spur imagination
Words infused with hilarity,
fill the air with laughter
Words infused with affirmation,
comforts the lonely and help them to connect
But the greatest words are
the words that are infused with love
because it brings joy and happiness to all
Being a writer
means that we need to endure
the hardships
as well as
the triumphs
in order to bring out
the hidden stories within us
to share with others
and make
a true connection
to their souls
As a writer
my only hope,
my only desire
is to make a connection
with the reader
The words writers choose
to create their prose
crave the connection
to the hearts and minds
of their readers
The writer courageously puts their work out into the world
and bares their soul
in hopes of finding that special someone to connect with.
One who sees how they see,
think like they think,
speak like they speak
and dreams like they dream.
To encourage or inspire someone
through your words is difficult
To select the right words,
you must let go of everything
and let your heart be your guide
Once that happens,
you’ll be able to connect
with the soul of your readers
A writer’s essence
comes through the page
when the reader
laughs, cries, scowls,
smiles or cheers
The reader’s emotions embody
everything that has come forth
from the writer’s inner voice
When this happens,
when this symbiotic rapport occurs,
then the art of writing
truly becomes fulfilled
