You have the potential
to be a great writer
once you acknowledge that there are
other writers out there in the world
that are better than you
It is only then
that you are able to challenge yourself
to rise to the occasion and meet them
on an equal playing field
Without great love,
passion and commitment
writing would just be
a waste of one’s creativity
Live by your own standards
and not follow others
When you make comparisons,
you rob yourself of your very soul
Life will present you many challenges that will test you physically, mentally, emotionally and socially; have the courage to persevere and look for the opportunities that lie in those challenges that will help you to press forward.
To be a good writer, you need to be a good observer as well.
Being a writer
means that we need to endure
the hardships
as well as
the triumphs
in order to bring out
the hidden stories within us
to share with others
and make
a true connection
to their souls
The greatest writers in the world would be worthless if their hearts weren’t strong.
All great writers
that excel in prose,
answer the call
that’s burning in their hearts
In order to make your dream a reality, you must be willing to take the first step.
Don’t leave anything to your question of “What if?”
Just keep going and never give up.
